Price index for apartments in the 2nd quarter 2013 up 5.1% year on year

For the first time, STATEC and the « Observatoire de l’habitat » of the Ministry of Housing jointly publish price statistics covering apartment transactions. In the 2nd quarter 2013, the price index for apartments rose by 2.8% compared to the previous quarter, after a slight decline in the 1st quarter. This price increase is driven by the Centre-South region, which includes Luxembourg-city and its surrounding areas.
