Apartment prices up in the 4th quarter 2013

STATEC and the « Observatoire de l’habitat » of the Ministry of Housing recently published statistics on apartment sales that took place in the 4th quarter 2013. The price index for apartments increased for the third consecutive quarter. This result was primarily due to pressure on prices of new apartments. At the same time the number of transactions for new apartments was unusually low for the end of the year. The rise of prices of new apartments affects the whole territory of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
