Building and dwelling stock

At 1st March 2015, the Register of Buildings and Housing counted 140 172 residential and semi-residential  buildings and 227 326 dwellings. 82.9% of these buildings are family house, 10.9% apartment buildings and 6.1% semi-residential buildings. Around 50% of the dwellings are in family house, the others are divided between residential and semi-residential buildings.
