Slowdown for the insurance market in second quarter 2018

After a promising start of the year, the insurance market activity slowed down significantly in the second quarter of 2018: all lines of insurance combined, premiums decreased by 16.86 % compared to the same period of the previous year. Over the first six months of 2018, the overall inflow recorded a decline of 4.98 % with premiums going down by 10.01 % in life insurance and up by 28.73 % in the non-life insurance business lines
