Industrial production : - 1.4 % in first trimester 2011

Statec has released the results of the monthly activity surveys in industry and in construction for the third quarter of 2011. In an economic environment characterized by a generalized decline of demand, a lack of confidence in financial markets and a crisis of public finances in the euro area, the activity of the Luxembourg industry deteriorated for the third quarter in a row.
