Accidents at work and work related health problems

On the occasion of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work (April 28) and Labour Day, STATEC focuses on accidents at work and work related health problems. Over the past 12 months, 3.8% of workers have been victims of accidents at work resulting in injury, and 8.1% report having suffered from health problems that have been caused or made worse by work. Two out of three workers report that they are exposed to risks to their physical health in their workplace; one in two workers is exposed to risks to his/her mental well-being.
