Économie et statistiques N° 84/2015 Assessing the non-economic outcomes of social entrepreneurship in Luxembourg

A research undertaken by STATEC in 2014 shows that the social economy, i.e. firms, associations, cooperatives and foundations working to find solutions to social and/or environmental problems, plays a significant role in the improvement of the living conditions in Luxembourg. The study shows that the presence of social enterprises improves the quality of life of all social classes and in particular of the poorest.
