N° 01/2013 Technologies of information and communication in households

The recent ICT survey form Statec reveals that 92% of households in Luxembourg are equipped with a computer and have an Internet access at home. Most non-Internet users are in the age group of 55-74 years. 95% of the 16 - 74 age group are equipped with a mobile phone or smart-phone. Mobile access to the web is a logical consequence: 68% of Internet users access the Internet outside of work or home using a portable device (laptop, tablet, mobile phone, smartphone).
