Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Luxembourg 2015/2016

Considering the population aged 18 to 64, the proportion of new entrepreneurs increased slightly in 2015 to 10.2%. This proportion was 7.1 per cent in 2014 and 8.7 per cent in 2013.

The national institute for statistics and economic research STATEC presented the results of a study on entrepreneurship carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and the Chamber of Commerce under the Global Entrepreneurship Monitoring (GEM) program for the year 2015. The GEM survey is a study in which 61 countries participate. It aims to analyze the attitudes and behaviours of citizens in the field of entrepreneurship.
