Business opinion surveys
Generated within the framework of a Joint Harmonised EU program, Statec’s business surveys are addressed on a monthly basis to a sample of enterprises in industry and construction.
The surveys are light and nearly all the questions are of qualitative nature: managers are asked about their feelings concerning the recent, the present and the future business situation without needing to provide quantified information. This allows having early results for the analysis of the economic situation.
The industrial investment survey is carried out twice a year, in April and October. It collects quantified information on recent and planned investments. Forms are only available in french.
