Monthly activity statistics

The amended Regulation (EC) N° 1158/2005 which has force of law in the Member States of the European Union, envisages the processing and the transmission of results for a panoply of business variables concerning the various branches of activity. The monthly activity surveys are carried out for a sample of enterprises in industry and construction. The requested variables are: persons employed, wages and salaries, hours worked, turnover, new orders and – for industry - production in value and physical quantities.
