Survey on sales of plant protection products (pesticides)
The survey on sales of plant protection products is based on regulation (EC) No 1185/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council from 25th of November 2009 concerning statistics on pesticides enabling the creation of harmonised and comparable Community statistics in order to assess EU policies on sustainable development and to calculate relevant indicators on the risks for health and the environment related to pesticide use.
STATEC collects data on the sale or resale of pesticides by firms in Luxembourg.
The firms who are contacted by STATEC in the framework of this yearly survey have to reply within one month following receipt of the survey.
